Suave Daily Clarifying Shampoo: A Review

Nearly all hair experts are in agreement that the cost is not very important, what is important is that you have a shampoo that works for your hair. This is most certainly true and it is why there are so many, especially those on tiny budgets, who tend to always buy the cheapest shampoos they can find. This is most certainly the reason the Suave shampoo and conditioner line is very popular.

You’ve probably heard by now that clarifying shampoos are great for the hair, especially if you have a lot of oily buildup or use a lot of product. Generally, a clarifying shampoo only has to be employed if you have dull looking hair or if you’ve got a great deal of gunk built up on it. Suave’s Daily Clarifying Shampoo, though, has “daily” in the actual product name. So is the shampoo actually all that great? Is it truly a good idea to use it on a daily basis, like the product name indicates?

First some very nice stuff: Suave Daily Clarifying Shampoo truly is good at getting the yucky buildup out of your hair. It pretty much just strips everything off of your hair and leaves just the natural hair strand behind. This could be really amazing, especially for people who use lots of product on their hair and need an inexpensive way of getting it off.

The other really nice thing about this particular shampoo is how much it will cost you. Ordinarily a 21 ounce bottle of Suave, no matter what kind of shampoo you get in its line, costs just around $ 1. It’s difficult to beat the price, especially if you are on a budget, or are paying more on other hair products.

The issue we had with the shampoo was basically how dry it made our hair. It’s definitely a shampoo that strips. While getting down to the natural locks is a really good thing, the dryness can actually be difficult to take. You definitely do not want to use this shampoo on its own. You will want to follow it up with a conditioner to keep your hair from getting brittle and also dry.

The product has synthetic colors and scents added to it. They are light but they’re still there. If you’re sensitive to things just like this, you must not use this shampoo as it will probably really irritate you.

Suave Daily Clarifying Shampoo also does not last quite as long as the other clarifying shampoos that are available. It should last long enough to get you through your workday, but by the time you next wash your hair (unless you want to wash it twice a day, which is not advised), your hair will be oily once more. You might even have more oil than you usually do because the shampoo can be quite drying on your scalp which will kick your scalp’s oil production up a notch.

It depends on which type of hair you have but this shampoo can either be the best thing to happen to your hair or the worst thing you’ve tried. Ask your hair stylist whether or not you ought to use it.
